Isa Rodeo Limited welcomes competitors for the Mount Isa Mines Indigenous Rodeo Championships. You must identify as Indigenous to enter in the Mount Isa Mines Indigenous Rodeo Championships.

Events include - Bull ride, Saddle Bronc, Bareback Bronc Team Roping, Rope and Tie, Steer Wrestling, Barrel Race, Breakaway Roping, Jnr Steer and Poddy Ride. There will be one round in each event and prize money will pay to the top 4 places.

Entry Fees - $80.00 per event except Junior Steer and Poddy Ride which will be $35.00 each PLUS APRA day member fees if your not a APRA financial member.

Entries will be open from Friday 12th July – Monday 22nd July 2024.

Payment must be made on entering.

Camping Information

Free Camping is for Registered competitors only. Other family members travelling with competitors will be charged $10 per adult per a night and $5 per child per night (aged 7 and over) their family only and will be cross-referenced from the list of nominations for eligibility. Payment for additional camping to be made on arrival.

No camping before Wednesday 9th of August. Camping is free, however, there is no power available.

All those wishing to camp at Buchanan Park must register when nominating.

Appropriate site size will be determined by the size of the vehicle and the number of horses.

All sites must be registered. If you do not register, you may not be guaranteed a spot.
