2023 Isa Rodeo Hall of Fame BBQ Dinner
Join us for a night under the stars as we celebrate Rodeo and Rotary at the Induction of the Legends into the Isa Rodeo Hall of Fame.
In the open air of Buchanan Park's Forecourt, you'll hear from the Legends themselves, along with a panel of champion cowboys and cowgirls, be entertained by local band Bulldust and enjoy the best BBQ buffet in the northwest.

MOUNT ISA MINES RODEO, 1ST SECTION OF EVENTS
The rodeo action kicks off in the main arena from 8:30 through to lunchtime.

2023 Mount Isa Mines Indigenous Rodeo Championships featuring Jessica Mauboy
The second year of the Mount Isa Indigenous Rodeo Championships will see more records set, and indigenous riders celebrated, before Jessica Mauboy takes to the stage, with DJ Deadly Jacob hosting.
Features a Welcome to Country and cultural performance by the Sundowners Kalkutungu Dancers and the spectacular Komet Torres Strait Islander Arts and Culture Dance Group.
Don’t miss Dancing Dexter in the Red Dirt Arena, the crowd-pleasing Bull Fighter from last year’s Mount Isa Mines Indigenous Rodeo Championships!

Better pack your taste buds because rodeo just got some VERY tasty news. Perched above, and on the chute side of the famous Buchanan Park Rodeo Arena, this all-new dining experience is for 80 guests only.
Two evening dinners will be staged, on Friday and Saturday evenings, with diners practically on top of all the rodeo action!
What could be better? The two-course menu will be prepared by famed chef, Jason Peppler from Brisbane, a champion of country produce and a master of meats PLUS, it’s hosted by Channel Seven’s Kimberley Busteed who will welcome a swag of special guests.
There’s also a three-hour drink package of beer, wine and soft drinks and a Mount Isa Mines Gift Bag on arrival.

- Celebrate 100 Years of Mount Isa City at a special ‘birthday party’ as part of the Opening Ceremony on Friday 10th August (yes, there’s a birthday cake!)
- The Shank Brothers return with their infamous Hot Chilli Wing Challenge, you’ll be able to register for one of their HEATS!

Rodeo Rock Concert
Friday night’s Rodeo Rock concert sees the party start with party makers Furnace and the Fundamentals, followed by O’Shea and then Aussie rock legends The Screaming Jets take to the stage.
Saturday 12th August
Saturday Rodeo Rock Concert
Saturday night rodeo favourite Luke Geiger opens the nights entertainment before The Angels (this legendary band has a long history with Mount Isa) take to the mic.
Sunday 13th August
Rodeo Action Day Four
The final day of rodeo action and the morning session wont disappoint!
Theres two sessions of action packed rodeo, with presentations and the Art Union Prize draw.
Theres plenty of live entertainment to keep you pumped all the way till close.
