She said the Isa Rodeo Open Bull Ride prize money would increase by $10,000, with cowboys competing for more than $30,000 in prize money. The winner would also receive an additional $4,000 cash bonus and trophy buckle.
The Open Saddlebronc and Steer Wrestling prize money has each been increased by a further $5,000. The Open Breakaway Roping prize money would increase by $2,500 to bring it up to $10,000.
Ms Flecker said she also expected strong interest in a new event – an invitation-only over 40s Bull Ride with $3,500 prize money.
