One of Outback Australia’s favourite clothing companies, Wrangler will sponsor charity fundraiser, the Mount Isa Rotary Rodeo Queen Quest.
Under the sponsorship deal announced today, Wrangler will provide rodeo-branded clothing for the quest entrants to wear, as well as other support.
Mount Isa Mines Rotary Rodeo Manager Ms Natalie Flecker acknowledged Wrangler’s support of the quest for the second consecutive year.
“We are very grateful for the ongoing support of all our sponsors, and to Wrangler for their role with the Queen Quest,” she said. “Wrangler has been really generous and their contribution is valued.”
This year’s Queen Quest entrants – Tegan Kastermans, Alexandra Burgaretta and Dannielle Horwood are already hard at work fundraising for the Royal Flying Doctor Service (RFDS), Paws Hoofs and Claws and Neighbourhood Watch Mount Isa respectively.
Wrangler spokesperson Ms Sue Cook said Wrangler was proud to continue its sponsorship of the Queen Quest, which raised much-needed funds for local community organisations.
“The Queen Quest is a great fit for Wrangler, and we are keen to support an initiative which has raised so much money for the local community,” said Ms Cook. “Our involvement was a great success for us last year, and we hope we have something to continue to offer to the event and rodeo-goers.”
Wrangler merchandise will also be sold at the Isa rodeo, this year being held from August 8 to 10.
